Aftermath 2: Chaos Rising was an outdoor haunted attractions maze that was accessible during Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
History[]
Aftermath 2: Chaos Rising was introduced during Fright Fest 2016 on the former site of Déjà Vu in Cyclone Bay (later The Underground). It was a replacement for The Aftermath maze, which had previously been held at the Batman Action Theater until it was razed to make way for the construction of Justice League: Battle for Metropolis. Many of the large set piece structures from the former theater were moved to the empty lot that had previously been the site of Déjà Vu, next to Apocalypse.[1][2]
For Fright Fest Extreme in 2024, the site of Aftermath 2 was split into two mazes. Most of the outdoor set pieces were used by Army of the Dead, while a smaller subset of the maze was fashioned into Aftermath: Nocturnal Hunt.[3]
