Bruce Wayne AKA Batman is a DC Comics super hero created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane. He first appeared in Detective Comics #27, which was released in March 1939. Batman is the sworn protector of Gotham City, and a founding member of the Justice League.
Batman's first appearance at a Six Flags park was at Six Flags Great Adventure in 1992, with the debut The Batman Stunt Show, which ran in the Batman Stunt Arena in the park's Movietown area throughout the 1992 season. Since then, the character has made hundreds of various appearances, and has many dedicated attractions.

The B&M version of Batman: The Ride is an inverted roller coaster found at seven different Six Flags parks. Some of the versions are based on "Burtonverse" Batman, while others are based on the general character from the comics.

The S&S version of Batman: The Ride is a 4D "Free Spin" roller coaster located in DC Universe at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It is based on the Prime Earth (New 52) incarnation of Batman, and guests enter the Batcave to get to the ride. This version of the ride will also open at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in 2019.
Batman: The Escape[]

Batman: The Escape was a stand-up roller coaster at Six Flags AstroWorld. It closed with the park on October 30, 2005. It was based on the film Batman Returns, the station being The Penguin's hideout.
Batman & Robin: The Chiller[]

Batman & Robin: The Chiller was a duel launched roller coaster located in Movietown at Six Flags Great Adventure. It opened in 1997 in tandem with the release of the film Batman & Robin. Guests chose from the "Batman" side (blue) or "Robin" side (red), both of which offered a unique experience. After suffering many technical issues, the ride was shortened, and ultimately closed in 2007.
The Dark Knight Coaster[]

The Dark Knight Coaster is an indoor dark ride-roller coaster hybrid attraction based on the 2008 film The Dark Knight. It opened at Six Flags Great America and Six Flags Great Adventure in the summer of 2008, and Six Flags Mexico in 2009. At the end of the ride, a figure of the "Nolanverse" incarnation of Batman is seen on one of the buildings in Gotham City.
