Boomerang, also referred to as Le Boomerang, is a steel shuttle roller coaster at La Ronde.
History[]
The ride is a Boomerang model that was originally constructed by Vekoma for a Tivoli resort to be built in Las Palmas of the Canary Islands. However, the park and its rides never opened, so the coaster was sold to La Ronde in Canada, where it opened for the 1984 season.[1]
For the 2025 season, the coaster received new trains, upgrades to the catch car, magnetic brakes, and track work on the top of the vertical loop.[2]
Design[]
Trains[]
The coaster features a single-train with 7 cars. Riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows in each car for a total of 28 riders per train.
