Bourbon Street Fireball was a Larson loop ride located in Mardi Gras at Six Flags America. The ride opened on June 11, 2015, and was manufactured by Larson International.
The ride is themed after Bourbon Street, a historic street in the French Quarter of New Orleans known for its bars and strip clubs as well as its annual Mardi Gras celebrations. The "Fireball" in the name is a reference to the famous Fireball Cinnamon Whisky produced by the Sazerac Company.

On August 28, 2014, Bourbon Street Fireball was officially announced as the park's "tenth coaster".[1]
Opening[]
On June 11, 2015, Bourbon Street Fireball opened to the public.
Removal[]
In August 2023, Bourbon Street Fireball was removed for the 2024 season for unknown reasons. The spot it once was is now empty, and guests are anticipating if anything new will replace it, or if it will come back better than ever. For now, It is one of two rides to be removed prior to the 2024 season unexpectedly next to Zydeco Zinger,
Coaster designation controversy[]
After Bourbon Street Fireball was announced as Six Flags America's "tenth coaster" on August 28, 2014, fans and coaster enthusiasts were left confused by the company's designation of the flat ride as a roller coaster.[2] This lead to an online debate that lasted up until the ride's opening. After the controversy of Bourbon Street Fireball's identity, Six Flags no longer referred to future loop rides as "roller coasters".
