Bugs Bunny National Park is a children's area at Six Flags St. Louis, themed after the Looney Tunes franchise. It opened in 2006, replacing an area that was formerly part of Britannia.
A direct successor to Looney Tunes Town, the area contains similar attractions to the previous area, as well as some homages.
History[]
Bugs Bunny National Park was originally to be named Looney Tunes National Park, but the name was changed after a visit by CEO Mark Shapiro in January 2006. This delayed the official announcement of the new children's area and Acrophobia (which Shapiro also suggested on the visit be rethemed to Superman: Tower of Power).[1]
