Camp Snoopy's Off-Road Rally

Camp Snoopy's Off-Road Rally (formerly the Rocky Mountain Trucking Company) is a track ride at the Camp Snoopy area of Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. It is themed after the Peanuts comic series.

History[]

The ride was manufactured by Zamperla and opened at the park in May 1993 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Camp Snoopy area. It was originally called the Rocky Road Trucking Company, replacing Tubs of Fun.[1][2][3]

Modifications[]

During renovations between the 2013 and 2014 seasons, the ride was renamed to the "Rocky Mountain Trucking Company".[1] The Camp Snoopy area was again renovated between the 2023 and 2024 seasons. During that time, the neighboring Huff and Puff attraction was closed and the track route of the Rocky Mountain Trucking Company was extended over the former Huff and Puff site to increase its duration, which was previously only about 55 seconds. The track ride was re-themed and opened on June 27, 2024 as "Camp Snoopy's Off-Road Rally". [4][5]

Vehicles[]

The vehicles can each seat up to four riders. The original vehicles of the Rocky Mountain Trucking Company were themed as semi-trucks that were all coupled together as a train convoy. The vehicles of Camp Snoopy's Off-Road Rally resembled Jeep-like off-road vehicles that were not tethered and could embark individually.
