Camp Snoopy is a children's area at Knott's Berry Farm, themed to the characters from Peanuts.
History[]
The area opened on July 1, 1983 after Knott's representative Ron Mizaker secured a deal with Charles M. Schulz to license the Peanuts characters.[1][2] In 1992, the area was updated with several new attractions, some of which were duplicated at Knott's Camp Snoopy within the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota.[3] For its 30th anniversary, the area was renovated between the 2013 and 2014 seasons with additional theming and rides.[4] The area was renovated again between the 2023 and 2024 seasons with 4 new or updated rides to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the area.[5]
