Charlie Brown is the main character of the Peanuts franchise. He is a down-on-his-luck young boy who enjoys baseball, kite-flying, and his dad's barber shop. He is known for being the owner of Snoopy the beagle. The character is based on Schulz's personal experiences and a former co-worker of the same name at Art Instruction, Inc.[1]
