Condor is a flat ride located near the Bateau Pirate at La Ronde.
History[]
The ride was manufactured by HUSS Park Attractions and originally opened at Six Flags Magic Mountain for the 1988 season. It had a reputation for frequent breakdowns and was disassembled in Fall 1989 to make way for the construction of Viper.[1][2] Condor was then transported to La Ronde, where it opened for the 1990 season.
Incidents[]
On May 26, 2024, Condor was evacuated as a fire extinguisher was used during a malfunction of the ride.[3]
Ride experience[]
The ride features 4 arms, each with 7 spinning gondolas for a total of 28. The arms themselves also spin as they are raised up the tower. After some time at the maximum height, the arms then descend back down.[1]
