Refillable Drink Bottles, sometimes referred to as Souvenir Sport Bottles, are offered to thirsty Six Flags park guests as an alternative to the high cost of buying individual drinks at park restaurants. The plastic bottles are typically color coded and/or dated to indicate the season for which they are valid. They are (or were) available in the following variations:
Drink Bottle types[]
Season Drink Bottle[]
Season Drink Bottles are the most expensive, but are refillable all season long at no additional cost. This is the most economical option for frequent park visitors. Starting with the 2025 season, bottle barcodes are scanned along with the guest's season pass to confirm that the bottle was purchased or redeemed (and not stolen) before refills, which are limited to every 15 minutes.[1]
1-Day Drink Bottle[]
1-Day Drink Bottles are less expensive and come with a wrist band for one day of refills at no additional cost. They can be used for discounted refills ($1.99 as of 2024) for the rest of the season. This is a viable option for occasional park visitors.
Member Drink Bottle[]
Member Drink Bottles used to be included with Legacy Memberships at the Platinum tier or higher. These red bottles could be re-filled indefinitely at no additional cost. Legacy members were entitled to redeem one plastic bottle (or insulated metal tumbler at water parks) per year, until the new Annual Membership system was introduced in 2022. However, grandfathered Legacy members could continue to use their existing bottles until the end of the 2023 season.[2] Starting in the 2024 season, members could no longer use plastic red bottles and could instead use their grandfathered Legacy Membership pass to redeem a Season Drink Bottle at no cost. Legacy members with insulated metal tumblers could obtain a sticker at participating water parks to continue using them for the 2024 season after validating their membership status.[3]

The ideal time to obtain a drink bottle is at the beginning of the annual season to get the most use out of it over the year. After that, the bottles can be obtained at a discount in the fall ($10 as of 2024) during Fright Fest, or at clearance pricing when the season is almost over during Holiday in the Park. However, these season drink bottles are not valid for use in the subsequent season, unless new inventory of drink bottles for the new season have not shown up yet.
