El Sombrero is a spinning ride located in the Mexico section at Six Flags Over Texas. It originally opened in 1965, where it replaced La Cucaracha, a short-lived roller coaster at the park.
Shortly after, it was relocated to Spain section, in the current location of La Fiesta de las Tazas. Sometime after, it was removed.
The ride was re-installed in the Mexico section next to Bandera's Restaurante in 2006, as part of 10 different rides added to the park for its 45th anniversary.
