Bourbon Street Fireball is a Larson loop ride located in Mardi Gras at Six Flags America. The ride opened on June 11, 2015, and was manufactured by Larson International.
The ride is themed after Bourbon Street, a historic street in the French Quarter of New Orleans known for its bars and strip clubs as well as its annual Mardi Gras celebrations. The "Fireball" in the name is a reference to the famous Fireball Cinnamon Whisky produced by the Sazerac Company.

Coaster designation controversy[]
After Bourbon Street Fireball was announced as Six Flags America's "tenth coaster" on August 28, 2014, fans and coaster enthusiasts were left confused by the company's designation of the flat ride as a roller coaster.[2] This lead to an online debate that lasted up until the ride's opening. After the controversy of Bourbon Street Fireball's identity, Six Flags no longer referred to future loop rides as "roller coasters".
