Fort Independence, originally known as the Aqua Spectacle Stadium, was a 2,000-seat show venue at Six Flags Great Adventure. It opened with the park in 1974, and was originally home to the Aqua Spectacle. The building was demolished in 2015, to make way for The Joker.
From its opening until 2001, Fort Independence was home to various diving shows, sometimes two different ones per year.[1] In its final years, the venue was used for dolphin and sea lion shows, with the final one being 2013 and 2014's Fish Factor.
