France is a small themed area at Six Flags Over Texas. It opened in 1961, as one of the original "Six Flags" of the park. In recent years, the France section has been grouped together with Old South as "Old South & France".
The area is home to Fort St. Louis, which contained a tribute to the history of Six Flags Over Texas. The area used to hold a smoking section, but now contains benches and Le Chateau de Merchandise, a shop that has not opened yet.
