Fright Fest 2000 was the 13th annual Fright Fest at Six Flags St. Louis. It ran on weekends from October 6 through October 29, 2000. The event also ran for two extra "Bonus Days" on October 30 and October 31.
The Mansion of Horrors was replaced by the Mausoleum of Terror, bringing the classic Fright Fest haunted house from Six Flags Great America to another Six Flags park for the first and only time.
Also, Six Flags' contract with Alice Cooper was not renewed from the previous season, and so Alice Cooper's Brutal Planet became known as simply Brutal Planet, the name of the original haunted house in Denver by Distortions Unlimited that was the basis for the Alice Cooper version that followed.
