Fright Nights, colloquially referred to as Fright Nights I, was the 1st annual Fright Nights event at Six Flags Over Mid-America. It ran on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from October 19 through October 30, 1988.

The event featured Freddy Krueger as the "entertainment chairman". It also allegedly included an appearance from Jason Voorhees, the main character of the Friday The 13th franchise.
