Fright Nights II was the 2nd annual Fright Nights event at Six Flags Over Mid-America. It ran on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from October 13 through October 29, 1989.
For the second and last time, Freddy Krueger returned as the "entertainment chairman" of Fright Nights. He got his own attraction, Freddy's Nightmares: The Haunted House on Elm Street, which to this day is the only movie-themed haunted attraction to ever appear in the history of the park's event.
