The Gypsy Camp was a themed area that operated at Knott's Berry Farm from May 28, 1971 until the end of the 1974 season.

Description[]

The Gypsy Camp was designed by Jimmie Jones with input from Marion Knott Anderson. The themed area covered four-acres past the Calico Mine Ride and was developed to feature Gypsy culture. The outdoor stage next to the Magic Cave featured animals and musical acts. Nighttime lighting was provided by gas torches. However, the area did not find success and was quickly replaced by the Roaring 20's, which opened in 1995.[1][2][3]
