Jaguar! is a steel family roller coaster located at the Fiesta Village area of Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California.
History[]
The coaster was designed by Werner Stengel's engineering bureau and built by Zierer at a cost of $10 million. It opened at the park on June 17, 1995. Jaquar! is the 6th coaster to be added to the park and is the oldest still operating while Montezooma's Revenge remains under prolonged refurbishment.[1]
Design[]
Jaguar! uses two cost-effective tire-driven lift hills, as opposed to a traditional chain lift. Part of its route passed through the loop of Montezooma's Revenge until that loop was removed in July 2022.[2][3]
Trains[]
The coaster features 2 trains with 15 cars per train. Riders are arranged 2 across in a single row in each car for a total of 30 riders per train.
