Kid Flash: Cosmic Coaster is a Skyline Attractions racing single-rail roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The ride's name was revealed in an official press release on March 1, 2023 and opened on November 4, 2023. It is among the first family racing single-rail roller coasters in the world, and the only racing coaster in Texas.[1]

History[]

Throughout November and December 2022, park president Jeffrey Siebert dropped hints about what the attraction would be following the announcement of the FT92 Fan Event which would be held in the Rockville High School on December 10, 2022. The ride was announced on the same day, and will feature LED lights and will be the first of its kind.[2] It is replacing the Fender Bender bumper cars attraction, which was closed during the 2022 season and razed by Spring 2023. Construction was handled by Baynum Solutions. In late October, the park annouced that the attraction would open on November 4, 2023.[3][4]

The ride was quickly plagued by operational issues and derailed on July 6, 2024.[5] It was closed indefinitely as Skyline Attractions worked to improve reliability.[6][7] The official webpage for the ride had also been taken down in early 2025.[8]

Layout[]

Despite being based on the same overall design, the available space at Six Flags Fiesta Texas will allow for a slightly longer installation at 1158 feet, vs. 1124 feet for the version installed at Six Flags Over Georgia. The height requirements for both are the same at 36 inches.
