The Linus Launcher is a spinning flat ride at the Camp Snoopy area of Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. It is themed after the Linus Van Pelt character from the Peanuts comic series.
History[]
The ride was manufactured by Zamperla and was added in 2014 as part of a makeover of the Camp Snoopy area to celebrate its 30th anniversary.[1][2] It replaced Charlie Brown's Speedway, which was relocated to California's Great America.[3] Though the official grand opening of the renovated area was on June 14th of that year, the new rides had already soft-opened earlier in the week.[4]
Ride capacity[]
The ride features 8 tandem sled-like platforms, which can each accommodate up to two people lying prone side-by-side, for a total of up to 16 riders per cycle. Guests must be at least 36 inches tall with an adult, or at least 42 inches tall to ride alone.
