Looney Tunes Movie Town, also referred to as simply Movie Town, is a children's area at Six Flags New England. It opened in 2000, and is based on the Looney Tunes franchise.
History[]
Looney Tunes Movie Town opened in 2000 as part of Riverside's transformation into Six Flags New England, replacing the former Tiny Timber Town kids area. Among the new rides were The Great Chase, replacing the similar Little Ricky's Twister, as well as Foghorn Leghorn's Tinseltown Train and Marvin the Martian's Earthbound Journey. Most of the original rides still stand today, but Marvin's ride has been relocated to Six Flags Over Texas as Marvin the Martian Space Rockets, and Foghorn's ride's fate has been unconfirmed.
The area currently plays songs from The Looney Tunes Show, including Beatles covers like "Hello Goodbye" and "A Little Help From My Friends."
