MagiQuest is a live action role-playing game in which players take the role of Magi and use magic wands.
History[]
The first MagiQuest opened in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at noon on June 15, 2005. At one point, MagiQuest operated many standalone locations. Including the one in Six Flags Great America. It opened for the 2010 season and closed in 2011.
Even though MagiQuest isn't there anymore. A similar game released in 2014 was installed in Six Flags Great Escape Lodge. It's called Adventure Trek: Quest of the Guardians. The Wands were renamed to Fun Faction Transmitters.
Nearby Six Flags Great America, a MagiQuest still runs at the Gurnee Great Wolf Lodge that opened in 2019, which replaced Great America's hotel partner Key Lime Cove.
