Metropolis is a themed area at Six Flags Magic Mountain, based on the fictional city of the same name from DC Comics.
History[]
The area opened to the general public on July 13, 2017 alongside Justice League: Battle for Metropolis, replacing The Movie District. A VIP and media event was held during the previous evening.[1]
Attractions[]
- Gold Rusher, a steel coaster which opened on May 29, 1971.
- Justice League: Battle for Metropolis, a dark ride which opened on July 12, 2017.
- The Riddler's Revenge, a stand-up steel coaster which opened on April 4, 1998.
Restaurants[]
- Ace O' Clubs, a barbecue restaurant at the north end of Metropolis.
- Cheetos Shack, a snack shop at the sound end of Metropolis.
Metro Park[]
Metro Park is an open-air food court near the south end of Metropolis, in front of the entrance to Gold Rusher. The group of buildings were previously known as The Waterfront commissary since the 1980s.[2] This area was actually soft-opened earlier in June 2017 while work on the Justice League ride was still being completed.[3]
- Big Belly Burger, a burger and chicken restaurant.
- Carlini's Pizzeria, a pizza restaurant.
- Metro Park Pub, an open-air bar.
- Munchopolis Snacks, a snack shop.

- DC Superhero Store, located at the exit of Justice League: Battle for Metropolis.
- Studio 6F, next to the entrance to Gold Rusher.
