NorCal County Fair is a themed area at California's Great America. It originates from the park's opening on March 20, 1976, with the original name being The Great Midwest Livestock Exposition and County Fair. Eventually shortening its name to simply County Fair, over time portions of the area were split off to form Action Zone and Festival Plaza, with the latter being re-annexed into County Fair; in 2003, half of County Fair became Festival Plaza, and by 2009 the remaining half of County Fair became Action Zone while Festival Plaza took on the former County Fair name. In 2023, County Fair and Action Zone were merged to form the newly-rethemed NorCal County Fair.
