Parachute Training Center: Edwards AFB Jump Tower, originally known as Parachuter's Perch was a parachute tower ride at Six Flags Great Adventure that opened in 1983 in what is now the Boardwalk area of Six Flags Great Adventure. In 1996, it got rethemed to the movie The Right Stuff and obtained its current name. It was the only Right Stuff-themed attraction to remain at the park after Mach 1 Adventure and the Space Shuttle were taken out and the Centrifuge Scrambler was rethemed and moved.
From 1983 to 2005, Parachute Training Center was the tallest ride in the state of New Jersey at 250 feet until it was surpassed by another giant at the park, Kingda Ka, which stands at a whopping 456 feet.
In 2023, Parachute Training Center's removal was announced after being in the park for 40 years.
