Python Plunge is a water slide that at Six Flags White Water. It opened on May 7, 2022.[1]

History[]

On August 29, 2019, the water slide was announced to be called Python Plunge. The ride is about 500 feet long, is 5 stories high, and goes through three saucer-like turnarounds. The promo video shows Thunder Rapids' ride footage, but uses aerial views of the ride, which misled some people that the slide is a water coaster.

By late 2020 with the website redesign, Python Plunge was nowhere to be found, as seen with other attractions like Tsunami Surge - confirming that the ride would be delayed until 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 5, 2021, the park announced that it would be delayed again, to 2022.

On May 7, 2022, Python Plunge officially opened to the public.[2]
