Rockville is a themed area at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, based on an American town during the 1950's. One of the original park areas, Rockville features high-thrill rides such as Poltergeist, Scream, and Hustler.
The area is centered around Rockville High School, the main entertainment venue of the park. As such, Rockville is always celebrating Homecoming, in a nostalgic 50's fashion.
Fiesta Texas opened to the public on March 14, 1992. Rockville was one of the park's original areas, themed after a 1950's town. Hustler was an opening day attraction.
In 1996, Time Warner acquired Fiesta Texas, and the park was subsequently was rebranded as Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
In 1999, Rockville received four new attractions, headlined by the high-thrill launch coaster Poltergeist and the drop tower Scream. The other two attractions, Taz's Tornado and Daffy's School Bus Express, were Rockville themed rides with Taz and Daffy Duck from Looney Tunes.
