Runaway Mine Train is a family roller coaster located in Frontier Adventures at Six Flags Great Adventure. The ride opened on July 4, 1974, and was manufactured by Arrow Dynamics.
It was the first major roller coaster at Great Adventure when it opened, and was considered to be state-in-the-art in high thrills. Today, the ride is seen as a family ride, and is listed as a "moderate" attraction.

Unique to the ride is that in contrast to the other mine train roller coasters manufactured by Arrow Dynamics, Six Flags Great Adventure's version of Runaway Mine Train utilizes a single lift hill as opposed to multiple lift hills.
