Scrambler was a ride between The Boardwalk and Metropolis areas of Six Flags Magic Mountain.
History[]
The original ride was opened in 1973 and was reportedly taken out of service in 2002 after a tree cut down by a contractor had damaged it. A replacement unit by the same manufacturer (Eli Bridge Company) was brought in from Six Flags Over Texas and installed for the 2003 season.[1] In 2018, the ride was repainted from white to blue, and a new shade structure built as CraZanity was under construction nearby.[2]
The newer ride reportedly last operated in the summer of 2024 and was removed in the following October. Though a sign initially marked the ride as being "temporarily closed", the Scrambler signage was eventually removed from the former site.[1][3]
