The Six Flags 2024 New Attractions were announced in a press release from the Six Flags Entertainment Corporation on August 30, 2023.[1] It details the company's plans to enhance its parks for the 2024 season.

New attractions[]

Six Flags Over Texas Arlington, Texas Sylvester and Tweety Pounce and Bounce July 4, 2024 The Arlington park has announced improvements that are coming for the 2024 season that includes a new ride and also a returning ride, which includes the following
  • Sylvester and Tweety Pounce and Bounce: A Zamperla Sky Tower that takes riders 41 feet in the air before a series of downward pounced and upward bounces
  • Daffy Duck's Bucket Blasters: A Watermania ride made by Zamperla that is set to make a grand return on the Bugs Bunny Boomtown section of the park on Memorial Day
  • Dino Off Road Adventure: The Chaparral Antique Cars will receinve an upgrade that includes new cars, a redesigned queue, and 13 animatronic dinosaurs along the ride route
Six Flags Fiesta Texas San Antonio, Texas DC Universe expansion 2024 An expansion of DC Universe, including the re-theme of several existing attractions and three new rides:[2]
  • Cyborg Cyber Revolution: A Zamperla NebulaZ family thrill ride, in which 4 arms rotate in intermeshing orbits.
  • Shazam! Tower of Eternity: A rotating family drop tower that takes riders to a height of 70 feet before a series of bounce and drop sequences.
  • Metropolis Transit Authority: A monorail-style train that allows riders to enjoy an aerial view 17 feet above DC Universe.
Six Flags Great Adventure Jackson, New Jersey The Flash: Vertical Velocity 2024 It will be the first and only Vekoma Super Boomerang coaster in North America, and the second in the world.
Savannah Sunset Resort & Spa 2024 An African lodging experience with “glamping” tents, scenic vistas, spa services and VIP dining.[1]
Six Flags St. Louis Eureka, Missouri The Joker: Carnival of Chaos 2024 A Zamperla Giga Discovery pendulum ride that will reach speeds of almost 75 mph and a maximum height of 172 feet.[3]
Six Flags Great America Gurnee, Illinois Sky Striker June 22, 2024 A Zamperla Giga Discovery pendulum ride that will reach speeds of almost 75 mph and a maximum height of 172 feet.[4]
Six Flags Over Georgia Austell, Georgia Georgia Surfer 2024 The Thrill Capital of the South is preparing for a summer 2024 debut of the first-of-its-kind, industry-revolutionizing Intamin Ultra Surf roller coaster called the Georgia Surfer. This new attraction includes the following
  • A powerful LSM launch system
  • State of the art surfboard vehicle design with free spinning gondolas
  • Four interactive water features
  • A paronamic view when soaring on the 590ft U-shaped track as riders approach the attraction's 144ft peak back and forth with speeds reaching upwards of 60 mph
  • Three weightless airtime moments at the gravity stall ramps
  • Four different airtime moments at the airtime hill
Six Flags Great Escape Queensbury, New York The Bobcat June 1, 2024 A family wooden roller coaster built by The Gravity Group. It will reach speeds of 40 mph and a maximum height of 55 feet.[5]
Six Flags America Woodmore, Maryland SteamTown June 21, 2024 The Coyote Creek area will be re-themed to a steampunk realm called SteamTown: Where the Past Meets the Future.[6] Mind Eraser, Renegade Rapids, and Coyote Creek Crazy Cars will also be re-themed. It will also include a new ride:
