Six Flags Hurricane Harbor San Antonio, formerly White Water Bay (Texas), is a Six Flags water park adjacent to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.[1] Its most recent name change takes effect with the opening of its 2023 season on April 29.[2]
History[]
The water park originally opened with Fiesta Texas in 1992 as Ol' Waterin' Hole, and was renamed Armadillo Beach in 1999. In 2006, the water park was expanded and renamed again, this time to White Water Bay'.
For 2023, the water park received a major expansion to its kids area, which includes 11 individual water slides and raft rides for younger guests.[3] Updated park maps published in January 2023 indicated that the water park would be renamed to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor San Antonio and that separate admission would be required of Six Flags Fiesta Texas guests without a season pass.[4][5] A press release on March 1, 2023 about the upcoming attractions referred to the park under its new name.[1]
