Speedy Parking was a parking option that was once offered to Annual Membership holders who had their vehicle license plates recorded for easy scanning by automated gates at Six Flags parks. The service was associated with Speedy Gonzales, except at Six Flags parks that do not feature Looney Tunes characters, such as Six Flags Great Escape.[1]

In March 2023, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation entered into a deal worth about $1 million for Rekor Systems to provide the hardware and software technology behind Speedy Parking.[2] The system began being installed at parking lot entrances in August 2023 for the 2024 season.[3]
Speedy Parking became available in some parks in late 2023 at a premium ($45) over standard general parking and was not initially included with passholder benefits.[4][5] It was repriced later in 2024 to match standard parking fees; passholders with parking benefits were allowed to use Speedy Parking at no extra cost.[6][7] Speedy access to Preferred Parking was also made available at extra cost, and to Prestige or Diamond passholders.[8]
However, the system did not work reliably in practice and took up valuable lanes during busy holiday weekends. It was removed in late January 2025.[9]
