SteamWhirler is a family thrill ride located in the SteamTown area of Six Flags America. Manufactured by Zamperla, the ride features four rotating arms synchronized by a central gearing system, providing riders with a thrilling experience with pops of airtime during each revolution.

History

SteamWhirler opened on June 22, 2024 as part of the park's major transformation project that introduced the new SteamTown area. It replaced the former Rodeo ride, which closed on August 16, 2022 to make way for the development.

Ride Experience

Riders board the SteamWhirler on one of the four rotating arms. As the ride begins, the central gear system spin the arms, creating a thrilling experience with moments of airtime as the arms rise and fall. The ride offers a fun and exciting experience for families and guests of all ages.

Theming

SteamWhirler integrates seamlessly into the steampunk theme of the SteamTown area. The ride itself features a mechanical design with gears and pistons visible, further enhancing the theme.
