Thunder Blues[]
In May 2019, a bet was placed between Six Flags New England and Six Flags St. Louis on whether the St. Louis Blues or Boston Bruins would win the NHL Championship. If the Blues won, Six Flags New England would be forced to temporarily rename Thunderbolt to "Thunder Blues", and hoist a St. Louis Blues flag on the ride. If the Bruins won, then Six Flags St. Louis would be forced to temporarily rename The Boss to the "Boston Boss". The Blues ultimately beat the Bruins 4-1 in Game 7, becoming the Stanley Cup Champions.[1]
