California's Great America introduced Tricks and Treats in 2022 as its family-friendly replacement for Halloween Haunt, which it had previously held from 2008 to 2021. However, Tricks and Treats itself was last held for the 2024 season.[1][2] No seasonal events have been scheduled for the 2025 season as California's Great America may be winding down operations as the end of their lease through Prologis approaches.[3] The Six Flags Entertainment Corporation has the option to extend the lease by 5 years when it ends in mid-2028. However, Prologis also has the right to terminate the lease as early as the end of June 2028, by giving the park 2-years' notice, from June 30, 2026 or later.[4]
