Tricks and Treats is an annual Halloween event held on fall weekends at Kings Island. It is the equivalent of Kids Boo Fest, held at other legacy Six Flags theme parks.
The annual Halloween Haunt event at Kings Island had been cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown restrictions against gathering crowds in indoor spaces, such as mazes. As an alternative, the Tricks and Treats Fall Fest was announced in its place with family-friendly activities and entertainment in outdoor settings. It was held on Saturdays and Sundays from September 26 to November 1.[1]
Though Halloween Haunt returned in 2021, Tricks and Treats Fall Fest continued to be held concurrently in the daytime. It was renamed to simply Tricks and Treats for the 2024 season.[2]
