Two-Face: The Flip Side was a Vekoma Inverted Boomerang Coaster at Six Flags America. It operated from May 8, 1999 to 2007, then sat for the 2008 season before being removed. The ride was themed after the Batman villain Two-Face.
History[]
After an accident in 2007, Two-Face: The Flip Side was taken out of operation. In the early 2010s, the ride moved to Movieland in Italy. In 2014, Movieland named the former inverted boomerang, renaming it Diabolik. The entire coaster was repainted blue. It had an orange track with turquoise supports. Diabolik opened to guests on April 24, 2015.
Layout[]
Guests get on the train which faces forwards and backwards. The train first climbs a lift hill while traveling backwards. As it reaches the top, it falls past the station, reaching a speed of 50 mph. It goes through a cobra roll and a vertical loop and a second lift hill. When the train hits the edge of the lift, the train falls back into the loop, cobra roll and then the first lift hill. The train slowly returns to the station.
