Wrath of Rakshasa is a dive coaster that opened on May 31, 2025 in the County Fair area of Six Flags Great America. The ride was manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard and replaced former attraction Buccaneer Battle and former haunted house Bloodshed.

History

On July 8, 2024, a teaser of a new attraction was posted on Instagram that had the quote, "Something iS coming, just wAit" Three more teasers were posted that are said in order, "it lieS thRougH the demonS eyeS" "you don't wAnt to See it AngRy" "SometimeS it'S oKAy to wAit". Signs were posted all over the park also teasing these quotes. On August 15, 2024, it was officially announced that Wrath of Rakshasa would open next year where Buccaneer Battle stood.

The first piece of track was installed in early December 2024. The lift hill was topped off in early February 2025. The last piece of the track was added in late March 2025.

On May 22, 2025, a media day event was held. On May 30th, the ride was open to park pass guests. On May 31st, Wrath of Rakshasa officially opened to the public.
